Physical & Movement

Cartwheel Runway

A tumbling line built one honest step at a time, from bunny hops to a proud cartwheel.

15 minSoloIndoor or outdoorYou’ll need: grass or mats, chalk or rope line

On soft ground, mark a line. Level one: bunny-hop both hands over the line. Level two: donkey kick. Level three: big bunny hop landing one foot then the other. Level four: cartwheel. Walk the runway back after each pass like it's a show.

The parent cue. Move up a level only when the current one is easy and tidy. Soft ground, always, never pavement.

Team & Character

Base and Balance

Partner balance holds with both feet on the ground: trust, timing and clear calls.

10 min2 playersIndoor or outdoorYou’ll need: grass or mats

On grass or mats, face your partner, hold wrists, and lean back into a counter-balance for five counts. Call it like a stunt team: set, lean, hold, up. Feet never leave the floor at home.

The parent cue. In cheer, the caller keeps everyone safe. Loud, early, agreed words are the skill. Lifts and pyramids belong in certified gyms with spotters.

Heart & Mind

Big Voice, Big Posture

Practice a call-and-response cheer loud enough to reach the back fence, chin up, smile on.

10 min2 playersIndoor or outdoorNo equipment

Make up a two-line family cheer. The child calls line one from across the yard; you answer with line two. Each round, take one step further apart and keep the words landing clearly.

The parent cue. A big voice is practiced bravery. Never tease the volume; celebrate the reach.

Milestones worth celebrating

What progress looks like, stage by stage.

No leaderboards and no age-group percentiles. These are honest firsts parents tick when their child gets there, at their own pace.

Why parents use HappyElite

Cheerleading is the start. The whole athlete is the goal.

Every week the app balances four kinds of growth: body, game sense, confidence and character. Activities match your child’s development stage, grounded in long-term athletic development research. A missed day is nothing. Progress is measured against your own child’s history, never a ranking.
